Our Mission

At Schieber Swim Foundation, we believe that every child deserves access to lifesaving swim lessons. Our mission is to provide free, survival-focused swim instruction to children with special needs and from low-income families, ensuring water safety, confidence, and inclusivity in and around the water.

  • Children with autism are 160 times more likely to drown than their neurotypical peers.
  • Swimming is a lifelong skill that saves lives. By eliminating financial and accessibility barriers, we help children build confidence, develop critical water safety skills, and prevent tragedies.
